My Comments: A really imaginative book, it takes all the common perceptions of birthday wishes, and adapts it into a separate world. It was an interesting and engaging read, the plot is simple, but the way it was handled, and the style of writing made it very enjoyable. The ending was a bit rushed, especially when the whole book was setting it up, it seemed to happen and end too fast and suddenly, would have been good if there was some twist to shock the reader before everything became right again.
