This is one of the more realistic and ground-to-Earth Bond films I've seen, gone are the fancier gadgets and weapons. I did find though, that with all the explosions and gunfights etc, Bond himself seems relatively unharmed most of the time, and doesn't even get dazed. That, I found kinda breaks the credibility a bit. I also liked how this Bond wasn't the invincible agent that comes to mind whenever we think of 007, he makes a fair few mistakes. It's good to know that even this agent isn't perfect (then again, he had only just achieved his 00 status). The plot was okay, while I didn't think it was complex, it was tense throughout the whole film as you were anticipating the next move. When the main antagonist had lost, I thought that the end of the film was near, but nup, it went on for a while afterwards. Most of that time I felt was boring, and didn't know why it was being included, it would have been better if that was shortened as to not break the pace of the movie. While the action sequences grabs your attention, it felt like it was more gimmicky than usual, with a lot of the stunts being impractical or at the very least, the person would have sustained some hefty injuries.
