Spider-Man 2

You don't realise it at first, but after the beginning of the movie in which Spiderman makes a lot of appearances and does what he does best (taking on crime), the film stops and continues on from Peter's perspective.  It was surprising to see him give up being Spiderman for most of the movie.  We really get to see how Peter fights within himself on what he is sacrificing in order to be Spiderman.  He gives up his life, his love, being selfless, you didn't realise the things he had to give up until now.  This actually impacts you to the point that when he dons upon his costume again, you feel proud of him.  With that said, the pacing during this reflective period could be fast forwarded as there were a few scenes in which it felt boring.  The film has more humour too, with some of those one-liners that Spiderman is famous for.  The villain is really well done too, despite not having too much screen time.  It helps that he is not truly evil, and the ending (in how the villain was defeated) was great.  The actual ending just screams sequel, which kind of dulls the movie as being a standalone chapter.  There is more action sequences and it's great seeing Spiderman perform his acrobatics.
