Toy Review: Transformers BotBots Bottocorrect (Series 2)

Review:  #595
Name:  Bottocorrect
Brand:  Transformers
Allegiance:  N/A
Line:  BotBots
Year of Release:  2019
Size Class:  BotBots (Series 2)
Mold Status:  new

ALTERNATE MODE:

As a signature element of the BotBots line, Bottocorrect transforms into a mundane item, this time, a bottle of correction fluid.

The back doesn't look as good because of the gap, which is required for transformation.  From other angles, it looks good.

Size-wise, Bottocorrect is small as you would expect, above is a comparison against Legion Barricade.  This is a solid alternate mode that's visually recognizable.

TRANSFORMATION:

You pretty much open up the alternate mode into several panels.  One of them will include the lid, while the other will not and be just the arm.  The legs then flip down from the back.

ROBOT MODE:

Bottocorrect's robot mode is unique in that it has an actual ranged weapon, and it is a large weapon, complete with a sight.

You would think with such a huge piece sticking out that the robot mode would struggle to stay balanced but the figure is designed with the body tilting backwards to help with the weight.

The headsculpt is indistinct but you can make out the one eye.

Bottocorrect is very short in this mode, above is a comparison against Legion Crosshairs.

Posebility is limited, you can only rotate the arms.  Coupled with the big weapon in one hand and you can't really get Bottocorrect in many poses.  Despite this, this is a unique robot mode that looks great.

OVERALL:

It feels as if the ingenuity of the designers of BotBots are never-ending because Bottocorrect is yet another awesome little bot in the line.
