Book Review: Barnaby Grimes: Curse of the Night Wolf

Review: #70
Title: Barnaby Grimes: Curse of the Night Wolf
Series: Barnaby Grimes - 1st book
Author: Paul Stewart and Chris Riddell
Read Before: yes
My Comments: A very nice mystery and suspense novel, that plays all the right keys so it tantalises you with hints throughout the novel, so the build up isn’t too unbearable and annoying. As you get through the book though, you kinda can guess what is happening, but still a little bit unsure, until the whole thing is revealed at the end. Unlike Return of the Emerald Skull, everything in this book is related to the plot, making it a much better experience. The plot is more tighter and intense, and very interesting. The visuals didn't add too much to the text, but it is still nice to have them, you really do grow onto the main character Barnaby Grimes, although he is one of those characters that meddle in affairs that is not his own. This fantasy and mystery genre novel is a great start to the Barnaby Grimes series.
