Book Review: D.Gray-Man Vol. 2

Review:  #199
Title:  D.Gray-Man Vol. 2
Series:  D.Gray-Man - 2nd volume
Author:  Katsura Hoshino
Read Before:  no
My Comments:  All of the chapters in this volume are based on one story arc, so it’s cool that you get to read it all in on go.  It’s awesome how we get to see an ‘evolved’ akuma, instead of the protagonists fighting against the same basic ones seen in the first volume.  The story of the innocence bearer, Lala and Guzol, was well written and well told, and what happened in the end was quite sad, but at least it was a sort of ending they had wanted.  I find that the left arm of Allen is quite disgusting (for a hero), and they way it morphs makes it seem like he is a monster (not ‘clean’ enough is the only way I can explain it).  Other than that, a really good volume and very interesting.  The concepts and story are great.
