Book Review: Cardcaptor Sakura Vol. 5

Review:  #262
Title:  Cardcaptor Sakura Vol. 5
Series:  Cardcaptor Sakura - 5th volume
Author:  Clamp
Read Before:  no
My Comments:  This volume contains some good chapters, and it gets you thinking.  The first chapter was quite nice, although it is a bit weird (and dangerous?) meeting up with a stranger and entering their house…  However, I really liked the events behind it, and the connections towards Sakura, there’s a bit of thought in them.  The next two chapters (part of the same story arc) was nice too, I thought it was going to be another part where no Clow Cards appear, and it was more like the “daily life” of Sakura, but I was wrong.  I really like how the Clow Cards are sealed in different ways, since it would have been boring if every card was sealed by fighting them.  A lot of the second chapter was kinda wasted retelling the Sleeping Beauty story yet it was amusing and fun to read all the same.  The volume ends in a cliffhanger, so it’ll keep you wanting to read the (apparently) final volume in the series.
