Book Review: Morgassa's Folly

Review:  #292
Title:  Morgassa's Folly
Series:  The World of Grrym - 3rd and final book
Author:  Paul Collins and Danny Willis
Read Before:  no
My Comments:  The finale of a fantasy trilogy that never really gains any traction.  There’s no sense of urgency here, nor is there any feel of accomplishments.  For the most part, the protagonists just travelled somewhere, sat around while a higher being did their work for them, and then there’s an overly long conclusion.  The plot was too straightforward to be interesting or gripping.  The book lacked a climax where everything would fall in place and the big event happened, that’s what’s missing, you don’t look forward to anything.  Basically, all the important and big events finished just over halfway, that means a lot of time is spent on even more boring matters that wrap up the story (most isn’t even essential).
