Book Review: Captain Underpants and the Terrifying Return of Tippy TinkleTrousers

Review:  #310
Title:  Captain Underpants and the Terrifying Return of Tippy TinkleTrousers
Series:  Captain Underpants - 9th book
Author:  Dav Pilkey
Read Before:  no
My Comments:  A Captain Underpants book that feels very different to all that came before it.  It’s more of a book that describes the hardships of going to school (kindergarten in this case) such as bullies and overcoming them.  The first eight chapters is like any other book, with the appearance of Captain Underpants and a lot of nonsensical events.  After that, it does a whole three sixty and is completely logical and understandable.  We have a look at how kindergarteners Harold and George overcome a big bully by pulling some pranks on him.  It was an enjoyable read with some good humour.  The ending was odd and unusual, and can feel a bit cheap.  Personally, I’m surprised at the length of the book and the amount of text in it.
