Book Review: Museum of Thieves

Review:  #362
Title:  Museum of Thieves
Series:  The Keepers - 1st book
Author:  Lian Tanner
Read Before:  no
My Comments:  While the story isn’t awestruck, the world was captivating.  It’s not too far away from reality, but the little changes and customs here and there makes it interesting and makes you want to know more.  The plot isn’t too strong as the events seem scattered and not too focused.  The protagonists are likeable and the writing is good (while admittedly simple).  The titular museum is huge and is barely explored in this book, which is a tease.  It wasn’t explained very thoroughly how the museum works though.  There’s just something about this book that gets you.
