Book Review: Amelia Dee and the Peacock Lamp

Review:  #393
Title:  Amelia Dee and the Peacock Lamp
Series:  N/A
Author:  Odo Hirsch
Read Before:  no
My Comments:  An interesting book, it was less fantasy than I would have expected.  It’s a nice and touching story; however, it’s got the author’s trademark nonsense writing.  There are many points in the story where there’s some random stuff that’s been said, that is either out of place or doesn’t make much sense (but has a deeper meaning to it).  The story takes a while to get going, around halfway into the book you realize what the whole plot is going to be about.  It’s a bit bland at times, but always emotional in its own way.
