The Fast and the Furious

It promises fast cars and races and you get that... mostly.  They somehow managed to make the plot about an undercover cop trying to solve who is hijacking trucks and stealing their cargo.  For most of the movie, the man behind the hijacking is shrouded in mystery (although there are some heavy hints towards who was most likely), but it was still a bit surprising when you find out who it truly is since the main character believes so hard about who it can't be that it throws you off.  A big portion of the movie can feel dragging and slow, while the last twenty to thirty minutes has quite the adrenaline.  The truck hijacking gone wrong was exciting and gives you a big rush, although the actual ending was a bit messy.  The pacing needs some work since it felt like that there were a lot of unnecessary scenes.  While the action scenes are nice, the movie plods along and makes those brief moments of awesomeness just not worth it.
