I, Robot
A really interesting concept, and the execution is not bad either. I liked how the movie was presented as a mystery, with things slowly becoming clearer piece by piece. At the end, with the revelation, everything seemed to click into place and make sense. It seemed perfectly natural at how the robot's programming would have evolved and presented/twisted a new understanding of the three laws that defines their behavior (these three laws supposedly stop the robots from ever harming humans). The film relies heavily on special effects, which is understandable, but this also means that many scenes seem unnaturally shiny or smooth. The score complemented what was happening on screen well, this becomes noticeable at the climax where it was tense, while you were anticipating how the characters were going to get out of the mess they're in. The plot makes you think a little bit, which is different to many other action movies where they just wow you with the stunts.
