Captain America: The First Avenger

While it's by no means a bad movie, it just feels bland and the least interesting out of the other Marvel Phase One movies.  Captain America seems to be the most normal superhero out of the Avengers, sure, he might have super strength, quick healing powers and his shield but it's not as fantastical as being a god or having high tech armour.  Anyway, the movie starts out interesting but it slows down and the mystery is lost.  There were a myriad of improbable stunts and events, being more obvious than normal and sticking out like a sore thumb.  It's hard to take the villain seriously when he bears a striking resemblance to the Mask.  Anyway, the climax was somewhat disappointing.  The time period's setting was unique and nothing something you would expect from a superhero movie.  It would be nicer if they could have explained better how he managed to survive for all those years.  Anyway, it does a good job as a movie itself and as a prequel to The Avengers.
