Snow White & the Huntsman
Snow White & the Huntsman is a retelling of the classic fairytale but of course with extra subplots added in order to bulk it up into a feature length film. The film itself is two hours long and frankly, that is an hour too long. By the time the on hour mark is up, you're bored and looking forward to the ending already. It ended up spending the first half hour setting up the story and the next hour following Snow White's escape. There were various scenes where it relies heavily on computer effects and they're not very realistic. The evil Queen's performance was quite good but other characters were so so. William as a character was redundant, he did not add much to the story, neither did the Queen's brother. There are some pacing issues making it seem bloated. A mediocre film where the actual product was not as good as it had initially looked.
