Agent Cody Banks
Agent Cody Banks is about a 15 year old teenager who was part of a CIA initiative to train young people to be agents, as a sort of reserve when the need arises. Cody Banks was the one who was lucky enough to be put into action, and he ends up with the assignment to transfer to a prestigious school to get close to Natalie, in order to find out what her father is planning. The complications (and humor) arises when Cody is shy around girls. The movie is entertaining and funny in the first hour, although occasionally straying towards cliche and cringeworthy areas. Then the movie just throws all realism out the window with the introduction of exaggerated gadgets and stunts in the climax of the film. Even with all the bells and whistles, the climax was loud, boring and doesn't keep your attention. In the end, Agent Cody Banks is predictable and while there are some highlights, there are more flaws than strengths.
