The Twilight Saga: New Moon

New Moon adapts the second novel in the Twilight series, and unfortunately, the worst novel in the series.  The plot of the film follows closely to its source material and that means that Edward and Bella break up, a contrived love triangle is formed when Jacob takes an interest, and Bella has to save Edward from killing himself.  The special effects are slightly better than the first film but still horrible and fake.  Most of the movie is massively boring, and it borders on encouraging psychologically imbalanced thinking and risking one's own life in order to deal with a failed relationship.  There is just so much wrong with this movie that the interesting bits like the Volturi, and other vampire's powers, gets overshadowed by the sheer ludicrousness and illogical plot.  The acting is terrible and everything is overly melodramatic.  There is too much pointless dialogue and scenes, making New Moon one for extreme fans of the series.
