Twilight (2008)
Twilight is the film adaptation of the book of the same name, and it is very faithful to its source material. That said, while the book was enjoyable, the same cannot be said for this film. The book at least had descriptive writing and you can tell what's going on inside the head of Bella, whereas the film feels like a chore to sit through. The events are not exciting and there is no chemistry between the lead characters, even though they are supposed to be in love. It feels weird and stalker-ish of Edward, with the actions that he takes towards Bella. Not only that, the film seems to imply that they only fell in love due to superficial qualities. Its depiction on the speed of vampires through motion blurring is poor, the characters do not have any sense of weight, therefore it looks extremely fake. The ending lacked any sort of tension that the situated called for, and lost any of the careful planning that would have been there. Twilight is one for the fans only since it's a poor film.
