Book Review: Cage of Eden Volume 14

Review:  #619
Title:  Cage of Eden Volume 14
Series:  Cage of Eden - 14th volume
Author:  Yoshinobu Yamada
Read Before:  yes
Comments:  Sengoku remains his naïve self by walking into a trap and thus are forced into investing the mysterious pyramid along with his other classmates.  Surprisingly, the pyramid has a huge space underneath filled with strange items such as machinery and plants.  This only serves to increase the mystery of the island and once again, we are teased with questions but no answers are presented.  The behaviors of characters are too exaggerated to take seriously, and while it is commendable for the author to try and focus on what would happen if a group of people are stranded on such a strange island, the feats that these people achieve are seemingly impossible.  Furthermore, it seems all the dangers in previous volumes such as the ferocious animals have disappeared and do not present a threat anymore, which makes Cage of Eden lose some of its attractiveness.
