Toy Review: Transformers Unite Warriors UW-EX Greejeeber (Rollbar)

Review:  #379
Name:  Greejeeber
Brand:  Transformers
Allegiance:  Decepticon
Line:  Unite Warriors
Year of Release:  2017
Size Class:  Deluxe
Mold Status:  repaint of Generations Combiner Wars Swindle

VEHICLE MODE:

Greejeeber, or otherwise known as Rollbar in the English dub of Robots in Disguise, transforms into a green army jeep.

Thanks to the green, he could easily be mistaken for Hound, especially since Hound was also a repaint of this mold...

Greejeeber comes with an additional gun, which pegs into the slot on top of the roof, and his other Gatling gun can peg onto either side of the back.

As a Deluxe, Greejeeber is your standard size.  He's fairly compact, however, the hood doesn't like to peg in properly to the legs.

The robot fists are visible and ruins the open canopy look, but thanks to the dark green and black fists, it is not as obvious as other uses of the mold.  Not a bad vehicle  in the end, even if it is a bit bulky.

TRANSFORMATION:

As expected of a Combiner Wars Deluxe, the engineering is similar to a few other figures.  The front unfolds to become the legs, and the arms unfold from the hood.  The hood itself collapses onto his back.  It's quick and easy.

ROBOT MODE:

Greejeeber's robot mode is big and bulky.  He gets a splash of orange on his torso.  A neat aspect is the two colors of plastic used for the combiner port on his chest to mimic the color scheme of the cartoon model.

He wears the hood on his back but since it is only a thin piece of plastic sitting flush against the torso, it doesn't get in the way at all.  Considering this is the only piece of kibble on the figure, it's a job well done.

The headsculpt is good and the use of a shinier green paint for the eyes help bring the sculpted detailing out.

He's your standard height in robot mode.  While Greejeeber is mostly green, there are a few other paint applications such as the grey for the pipes.

In robot mode, Greejeeber has the honor of lugging around the combiner hands and feets.  They peg onto his shoulders to form some sort of huge shoulder shields.

A quick comparison with Swindle.  The excessive amount of sculpting on this mold can detract from the overall look.

Articulation is fantastic, made all the better with his ankles that can swivel.  Greejeeber can stand flat in post poses.

In addition to the waist joint, he also has the standard shoulders, elbows, hips, knees and neck.

Greejeeber comes with the gun that originally came with the mold, as well as a grey redeco of the gun that came with Unite Warriors Long Haul.

An extra weapon is always welcome and the bigger gun suits him better.

There are upside-down G2 insignia on each shoulder, which is the insignia used for the RiD Combaticons.

A strong robot mode with darker more subdued colors.

OVERALL:

The mold used is a strong one, more focused on being a good Transformers rather than gimmicks.  The color scheme used is a bit too much like Hound, but is accurate to the RiD character.  The additional gun is a nice touch.

Greejeeber can form either the leg or arm of Ruination.

His standard configuration is as a leg, which is basically the the whole jeep with the robot feet flipped away.

As an arm, Greejeeber is quite bulky.  That's all for this review, thanks for reading!
