Book Review: The World God Only Knows Vol. 14

Review:  #724
Title:  The World God Only Knows Vol. 14
Series:  The World God Only Knows - 14th volume
Author:  Tamiki Wakaki
Read Before:  no
Comments:  The impossible job of Keima trying to progress multiple relationships at once continues and it’s interesting to see how he can repair the damage had already done.  The plot moves forward at a fast pace focusing on Tsukiyo in the second half of the volume, as well as revealing another piece of Vintage.  The gags are done really well with the humor spot on.  While the way that Keima wins back Tsukiyo is a bit forced and requires leaps of logic, the end result is worthwhile.  We see that each love interest of Keima still retains strong feelings for him, and Keima has a tough job ahead of him to get rid of the jealousy.  Vintage’s motives being revealed, while still only partially, is welcomed and at least you can match a proper face to the group now.
