Book Review: Biomega Vol. 6
Review: #752
Title: Biomega Vol. 6
Series: Biomega - 6th and final volume
Author: Tsutomu Nihei
Read Before: no
Comments: The final volume in the series and it is as confusing as the other volumes. Winning by a huge margin, there is a gigantic time skip until the end where Zoichi and Funipero confronts Niarudi and ends this saga once and for all. However, the plot still finds time to jump to other people’s perspectives and by the ending, you don’t actually know what significance they had to the events and why the focus was placed upon them. In hindsight, the story turned from a post-apocalyptic zombie series into an incoherent mess that rebooted itself strung together by action sequences. There was no whammy moment and the final scenes were confusing. The series was fairly disappointing overall.
