Toy Review: Transformers BotBots 24K-Bit (Series 3)
Review: #579
Name: 24K-Bit
Brand: Transformers
Allegiance: N/A
Line: BotBots
Year of Release: 2019
Size Class: BotBots (Series 3)
Mold Status: redeco of Pucksie
ALTERNATE MODE:
24K-Bit transforms into into a circular disc thing. The original usage of this mold was a hockey puck, and given the arcade theme of the pack, this could be either a puck or some sort of token.
It's fairly bland since it's a circle with some painted details on top.
Being a BotBot, 24K-Bit is very small, above is a comparison against Legion Barricade. This is one of the weaker BotBots.
TRANSFORMATION:
Transformation is quite simple. Half the puck folds out to free up the legs, and then you swivel the arms forward.
ROBOT MODE:
24K-Bit's robot mode was basically tucked underneath the puck and so it is fairly different compared to the alternate mode.
It's weakest point is the amount of kibble, making him look and feel very messy. Since he is so back heavy, his tiny footprint cannot keep him upright. Thankfully, you can use that gigantic piece of kibble as a third leg.
The face, like the rest of the line, is painted on, and with a smirk. There are some sculpted detailing around the helmet.
He retains his short stature in robot mode, above is a comparison against Legion Crosshairs.
Articulation is very limited, you can only swivel the arms forward and even then, the back kibble gets in the way.
OVERALL:
24K-Bit is easily one of the weakest molds within the Arcade Renegades pack. The alternate mode is bland, while the robot mode is too cluttered.
