Toy Review: Transformers BotBots Reptilin' Sleepstylin' (Series 5)

Review:
#661
Brand:  Transformers
Allegiance:  N/A
Line:  BotBots
Year of Release:  2020
Size Class:  BotBot (Series 5)
Mold Status:  redeco of Nampy

ALTERNATE MODE:

Reptilin' Sleepstylin' transforms into a pink crib. While you may not immediately notice what it is straight away, it is eventually recognizable and is a pretty sweet alternate mode.

The biggest negative with this mode is the kibble inside the crib, it doesn't help that the near neon green clashes a lot against the pink.

In terms of size, above is a comparison against Legion Barricade and Reptilin' Sleepstylin' is very small.

This is a decent alternate mode and definitely unique.

TRANSFORMATION:

Reptilin' Sleepstylin' is a shellformer.  The crib splits in half to form the wings, and then you fold down the legs, twist the tail back and you're done.

ROBOT MODE:

The robot mode sure is unique, and this is because it is dragon themed!

The crib acting as the wings requires a bit more work but otherwise, since Reptilin' Sleepstylin' is a shellformer, this is a great robot mode.

Adding even more personality is the head sculpt, with sharp teeth show and a snarky smile.

Reptilin' Sleepstylin' barely gains any height, above is a comparison against Legion Crosshairs.

Poseability is very limited though, the arms can swing forward a bit and the head can rotate.

OVERALL:

Reptilin' Sleepstylin' is a great mold, despite the shellforming nature.  The crib mode is unique, but the robot mode is where he shines, being a robot dragon.
