Bolt

The Disney film that I like to believe restarted the trend of good Disney animation movies again.  While Bolt isn't amazingly fantastic, it is very enjoyable and there are some really good funny moments.  It starts out with a bang, if you didn't already know what the plot was, you will be in for a surprise as you see the apparent violence and action stunts.  After the fast paced first act, the film slows down and doesn't ever return to that breakneck speed.  Without going into too much spoiler territory (even though the film is seven years old by this point), the film is about a dog who was cared for his whole life, thrown out into the real world (on the other side of the country) and eventually have to make his way back.  Obviously, along the way he meets some other animals who join him on his journey and it turns into a feel good friendship flick.  Granted, the ending scene was emotional and brings out some good feelings.  Overall, while Bolt has sections that seems boring and breaks the pace, it is a decent film that's worth watching.
