Comments: Despite yet another similar plot in the third series of the The 39 Clues, Flashpoint is a nice finale. There weren’t as much roll-your-eyes moments and it was paced well throughout the whole journey. The book sees Amy, Dan and the gang finding the last ingredient of the antidote and then actioning their plan to give it to the antagonist. While the antagonist’s downfall isn’t as well or satisfying as you would like, it was decent. There were a few secrets revealed along the way and I like how the amount of improbable stuff happening has decreased. A better story than I had expected.
