Corpse Bride
Watched this after re-watching The Nightmare Before Christmas, and it's a good movie. I really love the idea though, in which the main protagonist accidentally marries a dead bride, it feels... refreshing and different. Since it's also a musical, there's songs. They're not that catchy, but they're not bad to the ears, at the very least you don't cringe when you first hear it. Since it's a stop motion movie, the background and theme of the movie feels a bit dark, not the cheerful brightness you see of movies from Disney Pixar or Dreamworks. The beginning is slightly slow, and the middle a bit dragging, and you can pretty much guess ahead on what is going to happen, but it doesn't stop you from enjoying the movie.
I don't care much for the special features of the DVD, but I liked the one where it explained the whole process of making the puppet, and how it works. That was really insightful.
