Book Review: D.Gray-Man Vol. 12

Review:  #208
Title:  D.Gray-Man Vol. 12
Series:  D.Gray-Man - 12th volume
Author:  Katsura Hoshino
Read Before:  no
My Comments:  As the series progresses, it just feels that the way the characters’ powers evolves are getting out of hand.  It seems with every volume, one of the characters gets an ‘upgrade’.  Not that it’s a bad thing but it’s becoming stale for me.  The new ideas don’t seem as fresh or imaginative as they were back in the beginning of the series.  However, this volume does get you emotionally (kudos to the writer to get readers so emotionally attached), with what happens with Arystar Krory.  The battle against Tyki was good, but at times, it is still confusing and hard to decipher what is happening.  I found myself cringing at some of Allen’s powers.
