Book Review: The Curse of the Mummy's Tomb

Review:  #479
Title:  The Curse of the Mummy's Tomb
Series:  Goosebumps
Author:  R.L. Stine
Read Before:  no
Comments:  Despite the series’ title, not all of the Goosebumps’ books are scary and The Curse of the Mummy’s Tomb is one of them.  The supernatural part doesn’t even come into play until right at the very end.  The plot and the events that take place feels very normal and lacks any sort of feeling that might send a chill down your spine.  Even at the climax, when the mummy’s (surprise surprise) come to life, it doesn’t feel anything special.  It lacks the tension and suspense required for this type of plot (lost inside a pyramid, potentially with a revived mummy hunting you down).
