Zoolander
Ben Stiller stars as Derek Zoolander, one of the most famous and popular models, but just doesn't have much in the brains department. His career reaches a peak and then he loses the Model of the Year award to his rival Hansel and thus begins his reevaluation of his life, eventually deciding to retire. Anyway, he gets brainwashed by the villain of the movie to gain martial art skills and to assassinate the Prime Minister of Malaysia. It is an outrageous concept but works here because Zoolander doesn't take itself seriously. A lot of the gags and humor are hit and miss, but when it does hit, it is quite enjoyable. In some of the scenes, it ends up falling into the crude humor category which was a shame. For most of the movie, Zoolander runs away and there isn't much depth to the plot and how it all works. The ending was funny in how it was resolved and it worked out well.
