Mr Magorium's Wonder Emporium
Mr Magorium owns a toy store, a special toy store where the toys come to life and everyone has fun. As he nears the end of his days, he decides to give the toy store to his employee, a rising pianist by the name of Molly Mahoney. The first hour is spent with the film showing the wonders of the toy store, the awesomeness of how it comes to life and reacts, as well as Mahoney not accepting the fact that Mr Magorium is about to move on. Unfortunately, the film's best parts are in the beginning and as time goes on, the plot and events become less and less interesting, to the point where the last half hour feels like a big slog. Most of the film takes place inside the toy store so scenery doesn't change much. Mr Magorium himself is a likable character, carrying enough charm and his own unique quirkiness to keep the film going but once he does, the other characters cannot support the film by themselves.
