Plus One
The fetch quest
continues with another team out to get another Predacon fossil. Wait... who comprises the team when all the
Autobots are out busy? Of course, send
the humans in and the most unlikely pair too, Jack’s mum and Agent Fowler. The only redeeming quality of this episode is
the fact that Knockout is the star Decepticon.
The events are fairly predictable.
We see that Predaking might not be as much of a mindless beast as we are
led to believe so hopefully this plot thread actually develops and goes
somewhere.
Thirst
The plot of in this
episodes takes a turn in which you would not expect... inspired by “human
horror movies”. It was a hilarious
episode, mixed with come “horror” elements.
We see the fate of Silas/Breakdown, and the Decepticon warship is now a
zombie infested area. Each zombie sucks
out the energon of an unsuspecting Decepticon, infecting them with the
condition. It really feels like your
typical zombie movie and it was done especially well here. It raises more subplots, which, considering
that there are five episodes left, makes you wonder if there will be enough
time to resolve them all. The dialogue
was good and unpredictable things happen which made it very enjoyable. This is definitely the highlight episode so
far in Season 3.
Evolution
Just when you thought
the beast robot modes of the toys were non-canon, Predaking transforms in this
episode. Surprisingly, instead of just
terminating Predaking, Megatron decides to terminate the Predacons cloning
subject. This makes it very
disappointing in that we are nearing the end of the season and we only see one
Predacon, with more unlikely due to the events of Evolution. Anyway, this episode is chock full of fight
scenes which are stellar and really good.
Predaking faces off Ultra Magnus and Wheeljack in an epic fight with
visible injuries on both sides.
