Comments: I am reading this sixth book in the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy series without reading any of the five books beforehand and not even knowing what the series is about. It is terribly confusing for the first hundred pages or so as you struggle to keep up with the characters and their personality. What is happening? I really think that it’s best not to come into this book blind. Getting past that, the story isn’t that fantastic and while there is humor interspersed throughout, they aren’t the cream of the crop. Some of the ideas are brilliant and these are the sections where you start enjoying it more. The book feels disjointed and at the end, you felt as though you’re jumping from event to event without a real clear objective.
