As you can tell from the title, Kindergarten Cop is about a police officer who goes undercover as a kindergarten teacher. Surprisingly, it takes half an hour into the movie before the character actually decides to go undercover. This is supposed to be an action comedy and the situation allows for a lot of potential for humor, however, there isn't too many jokes or gags which is somewhat disappointing. To be honest, the film itself feels somewhat boring on the whole. The antagonists aren't fleshed out enough for their motives to be crystal clear while the relationship building between the main character and his love interest doesn't develop enough to have that sweet feeling at the end when everything works out. There were more than a few scenes in which it felt redundant and makes you think how it is relevant to the plot.
