Tron is a 1982 movie that was largely known for its amazing computer graphics at the time. While it is obviously dated nowadays, the aesthetic style (rudimentary blocky graphics) actually lends quite well to its unique feel and atmosphere. The same can't be said for the story as the pacing feels really slow, the plot particularly stalling by the halfway point. In the movie, Flynn ends up being digitalizing into the program world, where programs are personified. There is a Master Control Program who is absorbing other smaller programs with the aim of taking over the world (a real threat because it is aiming for the Pentagon). Character development is limited and due to the light effects, initially, it is hard to tell who is who as they all looked quite similar to each other.
