Comments: This volume covers off the first part of the Chunin exam and it is quite clever. A slew of new characters are introduced though so it can get confusing if you don't already have an idea of who is who. The volume lacks fight scenes but instead focuses more upon the cleverness of the how the first written exam is structured. It was smart and the way that Naruto passed it was humorous but stays true to his character. We start to see some of the characters' abilities too which is always great even if you don't know exactly what they are.
