Comments: Volume 8 can be a bit confusing but it reveals a lot of information in relation to the characters and it is this that keeps the reader engaged and interested. It throws a big revelation in relation to Alice. There are a lot of flashbacks which doesn’t necessarily add much to the plot or understanding. The volume ends with a cliffhanger as Oz strays closer to his death due to his contract with Alice. It seems as if time is running out fast. D This is a shorter volume than most because 40 pages of it is a special one-shot that was the pilot for the series.
