While technically not a movie (it's a tv special), it did come out on DVD... Anyway, as far as these short animations spin-offs go, Kung Fu Panda Holiday was pretty enjoyable. It's a bit too short (roughly around twenty mins) to have anything complex, and it's your typical "family is most important" type of plot. That said, the ending was quite heart warming and will bring a smile to your face. It's not as funny as the first movie but they carried it's spirit quite well. I'm surprised that the voice actors are still the same, considering that there are some pretty big actors here (I would have just expected the more minor characters to not show up), this really makes the tv special feel at home in the Kung Fu Panda universe. The animation was decent, and holds up well to even the source movie. There was a period during the middle where it felt a bit boring, but overall, quite a well made short.
