I, Frankenstein
I, Frankenstein tells the tale of Adam, the reanimated monster by the scientist Frankenstein in a world where Gargoyles fights demons. Initially, Adam walks his own way and does not partake in the war but 200 years later, through certain circumstances, he ends up taking a side. The film takes place pretty much exclusively at night and it is heavy on computer effects, particularly as when demons are destroyed, they go out in a burst of flame. The plot never really takes off, remaining quite bland and stale the whole way through. It doesn't even feel like it was building to anything, which was disappointing. You don't get attached to the characters, some of which are your stereotypical ones such as the good guy assistance who would rather Adam die, or the demon prince who is your standard antagonist. The ending was unsatisfying and the climax was predictable. Overall a dull film that you will quickly lose interest in.
