Monster-in-Law is a comedy involving Charlotte (or Charlie as she is known) meeting the man of her dreams. They date and get engaged but the complication comes from the fact that her fiance's mother is a famous TV presenter... who has just lost her job. She is famous for being picky and since she does not want to lose her son, the plot revolves around the battles between Charlie and her, leading to some interesting and humorous situations. The film tends to drag on a bit where not much is actually happening onscreen. Once it does get into the swing of things though, it keeps you engaged and can be quite funny.
