BEAST MODE:
Airazor, based on her Beast Wars appearance, transforms into a realistic falcon.
This is an excellent beast mode, and is superior to the original in every day, from the sculpting to the proportions to the articulation.
In terms of size, she has the double whammy of having a bird beast mode and being a female Transformer, so she leans more on the leaner side rather than being bulky. As a result, in terms of size, she can seem a bit small.
There is a lot of meaningful articulation, which is impressive. Her head in beast mode can turn, and the beak can open and close.
Her wings have several joints and once you unfold her wings, the wingspan is impressively wide.
If you have a stand (or even if don't), Airazor shines the brightest in a mid-flight pose.
The only flaw is that if you end up having her wings folded out, the torso appears really chunky and blocky, since it's hiding both the robot torso and the robot arms.
This is a fantastic beast mode, her flaws are all minor, and it's just a really impressive figure once you factor in the robot mode as well.
TRANSFORMATION:
The transformation is intuitive and is a good balance being being too easy and too difficult. The beast legs unfold to form the robot legs. The beast wings fold onto her back (you have to be careful of the plastic tabs as they are designed to only fold one way, otherwise you run the risk of snapping it off), while the head folds into the torso. While you're doing that, the robot head is revealed, and the arms unclip from the torso.
ROBOT MODE:
As good as the beast mode was, the robot mode tops even that and she looks absolutely stunning.
She's screen accurate, apart from the larger sized wings on her back and the lighter shade of color used, but outside of using faux parts, this is still pretty decent.
The head sculpt is frankly amazing. It is so well sculpted and the number of paint applications to perfectly capture the character is incredible.
She comes with two gold blasters, which peg onto her forearms.
One of the annoying things her her legs. Her shins fold in half for beast mode, but they don't tab into place in robot mode, so you can end up bending her lower legs when posing her.
Otherwise, her articulation is great. She has mostly balljoints, but you can pose her head, shoulders, elbows, waist, hips, knees and ankles.
Once again, if you have a flight stand, you can take advantage of her potential for a midair battle pose.
Even if you don't have a flight stand, she still has a ton of opportunity for amazingly dynamic poses.
Airazor has an incredible robot mode, something you wouldn't have expected for a Deluxe figure.
OVERALL:
Airazor is again a fantastic figure in the Kingdom line up. It perfectly captures both modes compared to her TV appearance. Then on top, she has tons of play value thanks to her articulation. Airazor is highly recommended and one of the must-haves of the line.
