Transformers DOTM DA-15 Jetwing Optimus Prime Extras 2

Part 2 of the posting of extra photos from Dark of the Moon DA-15 Jetwing Optimus Prime. For Part 1 click here, and for the review, click here.

ROBOT:

Robot mode from the front, very athletic looking, and amazing how close it is to the CG design.

I still think for the movie Optimus head, if the faceplate was wider he would have looked more awesome.

Weird place to put the MechTech port, as any weapon plugged there will look awkward, and obvious that Optimus isn't really holding it (even though that's the whole point of the port there). Besides, it ruins the smooth look of the forearm, as there's now an awkward hole.

The back of Optimus, very plain without the extra paint, and with the gas tanks there, it makes it look quite kibbly.

The back with the tanks taken off, a lot cleaner and slicker.

The buster cannon formed by the two tanks.

Taking aim...

He retains the Mech Alive gimmick even with the remolded abs. There is a piece that flips down and you can press down on it to 'flex' his chest and if you have batteries in, he will say "I am Optimus Prime".

The underside of one of the forearms showing the new clips that helps secure the Gatling guns when the Jetwing armour is put on.

JETWING ROBOT:

Optimus tilting his head up, annoying that you have to unplug a couple of things before you can tilt his head like that.

The two HUMONGOUS guns that Optimus carries, almost too big, but it is intimidating.

Optimus gripping the cannon.

The heel pieces that plug onto Optimus' feet.

The shoulder pads from above, they are big and clamp onto either side of the head, bulking Optimus' shoulders up.

The shoulder pads are on a hinge that can lift up and down.

The back of Optimus with the armour clamped on, it fits very snugly.

There are two main connections, the hook at the top, and this spring loaded clamp at the bottom of the backpack as shown above.

The wings down configuration of the armour.

Back view.

Wings completely down.

Wings up.

Well, that's all the pictures I have, so hopefully you have gleaned something useful from them.
