Review: #197
Title: Rowan and the Zebak
Series: Rowan of Rin - 4th book
Author: Emily Rodda
Read Before: yes
My Comments: Personally, I think this is the weakest of the series, but still an excellent novel in its own right. The way the riddles were written, and how they are slowly unravelled by the actions of the party is ingenious. The prophecies come true in ways you would not expect. This book also delves into the history of Rin, and it is very interesting. The main protagonist is likeable, and although his quest seemed impossible in the beginning, and how unlikely it was to succeed, what happens is brilliant. The story and plot was intricate, and well through out. This is a definite must read.
