My Comments: An excellent volume, and considering it's the first volume in the series, this makes it even more impressive. The story hooks you in right from the beginning; the first chapter is very strong. It reveals enough information about the story and the world it is in, but not too much such that there is information overload. The art is drawn nicely, and the story is great. The way the author had explained the process of ‘akuma’ being created works very well, and feels natural. This volume took my by surprise, and it went beyond my expectations. Great chapters, great story.
