Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937)
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was the first animated feature film by Disney. Thanks to the digital restoration, the film's animation looks great and there are some scenes where it looks really nice, like a hand painted artwork. The film tells the story of Snow White and how the jealously of her stepmother caused Snow White to escape to the woods where she meets the seven dwarfs. Running at 83 mins long, there are additional scenes added to the story, a lot of which is Snow White interacting with animals and the dwarfs. The story is simple and at the core of it, not many significant events happen. Nonetheless, it is still engaging for its time. It is partly a musical with songs scattered throughout, the melodies of which are still catchy to this day. The only negative is the opening and ending where some of the iconic scenes are told via text rather than animation.
