Toy Review: Transformers Generations War for Cybertron Earthrise Galactic Odyssey Collection Paradron Medics

Review:  #688
Name:  Galactic Odyssey Collection - Paradron Medics
Brand:  Transformers
Allegiance:  N/A
Line:  Generations - War for Cybertron:  Earthrise
Year of Release:  2020
Size Class:  Deluxe 2pk
Mold Status:  N/A

PACKAGING:

The precursor to the Generations Selects line, Galactic Odyssey Collection - Paradron Medics comes into a non-description brown cardboard box, which is somewhat disappointing for an exclusive, but makes sense as it's an online exclusive, so no need for fancy eye-catching packaging.

The packaging opens up via a flap, and inside is your standard plastic inserts holding the figure together.

It comes with part of the Earthrise map, all in all, very barebones.

FIGURE:

The package comes with the Earthen forms of Ratchet and Lifeline.  It is a bit sucky to lock Ratchet away as an exclusive, and into a 2-pack like this.

Ratchet is by far the better figure here, you're really only getting the pack because of him.  Lifeline is forgettable, both as a character and as a figure.

OVERALL:

This is a decent themed exclusive.  The "medics" theme works really well, as both Ratchet and Lifeline complements each other nicely.  It's a shame that the set was so limited, and with aftermarket prices so hard, it is much harder to justify.
