Comments: The ending to Neon Genesis Evangelion is a confusing journey. So with the world pretty much destroyed and to be reborn to whatever Shinji wants, how this is resolved and what ultimately happens is a little bit vague. It lacks explanation but there is enough for you to get the gist of what happened and it feels anticlimactic after all the things that had happened. Throughout the series, after the multiple battles with the Angels, all the characters that were killed, how it all ended just felt so different. Nevertheless, it is not a bad ending, and the art remains stellar.
