Toy Review: Transformers Generations War for Cybertron Earthrise Fasttrack (Deluxe)

Review:
#676
Name:  Fasttrack
Brand:  Transformers
Allegiance:  Decepticon
Line:  Generations - War for Cybetron:  Earthrise
Year of Release:  2020
Size Class:  Deluxe (Wave 3)
Mold Status:  new

ALTERNATE MODE:

Fasttrack transforms into a Cybertronian tank / buggy with six rolling wheels, and two cannons on the turret.

It's an okay looking tank from the front, however, you can clearly see the head and robot chest from the back.

In terms of size, above is a comparison against TLK Bumblebee.  Fasttrack is a bit small to be honest.

Due to transformation, the turret cannot rotate but the cannons can lift up and down.

Fasttrack has an unique look and for that he works.  Plus, he makes a nice complement to Scorponok.

TRANSFORMATION:

Fasttrack is a Weaponizer and so he transforms by parts-forming.  The bottom of the tank with the six wheels form the legs (and the thighs unfold from the legs), while the turret is the torso and arms.  The arms are the two cannons.  It's not complicated at all.

ROBOT MODE:

Fasttrack's robot mode is fantastic and looks really good, with a slim athletic build.

He has the cockpit on his back but is otherwise kibble-free.

The head sculpt looks great, especially with the large red visor.

In robot mode, he's the height of a standard Deluxe, but as per usual, he feels light thanks to all the hollow parts.

For articulation, he has joints for his head, shoulders, elbows, waist, hips, knees and ankles.

The ankle tilts in particular are extremely useful.

Note that by default he has the orange gun on his left arm.  However, he can have two hands if you want, or even two orange guns.

This gives Fasttrack a lot of versatility in terms of his weaponry, and having twin gun arms makes him look very menacing.

Furthermore, he has a short dagger that he can hold in either hand.

If you don't want him to use the dagger, it can be stored in one of the numerous 5mm ports on his body.

Fasttrack looks great and has a lot of play value thanks to his nimbleness and weaponry options.

TRANSFORMATION (WEAPONIZER):

As a Weaponizer, Fasttrack can also split apart to his various pieces in order to either form a gigantic weapon, or several smaller pieces to power up other figures.  While there are predetermined modes, you can also use your imagination to do whatever you like.

WEAPONIZER:

First of all, Fasttrack can form a massive spear-like weapon.

The weapon can technically be held by Deluxe and Voyager figures, although Voyager or even Leader is preferred given how big it is, and how heavy it is.

However, this weapon is really to complement Titan Scorponok in robot mode.

The other mode in the instructions is a weapons backpack and shield.

You can choose any Deluxe in the line (or in the previous Siege line), and it's not too bad looking.

OVERALL:

Fasttrack is a good figure in the Weaponizer line.  Due to his nature, he has a lot of play value but even as a standalone figure, he is solid.  He's even more worth it if you have Scorponok since they are paired together.
