DINOSAUR MODE:
Sludge transforms into a robotic Brontosaurus and despite the small size, he looks intimidating.
He's situated really low to the ground. Sludge sports the classic Dinobot colors and they work really well here.
As part of the Power of the Primes line, he comes with a character card.
In terms of size, above is a comparison against Titans Return Blurr, and unfortunately, Sludge is quite small and compact.
The robot weapons can peg onto either side of his rear legs.
Sludge is static in this mode as there's no meaningful articulation in the limbs, although his mouth does open.
TRANSFORMATION:
Despite being a heavy retool of Slug, Sludge still has a few things that are different. The main similarity is how the legs are unfolded and the tail tucking into the hollow part behind the legs. Otherwise, Sludge's torso open up as wings and the head folds completely onto his back.
ROBOT MODE:
Sludge's robot mode is surprisingly lanky but still looks good.
He has quite a bit of kibble being the dinosaur torso as wings and the Brontosaurus's head folded onto his back.
The headsculpt looks striking with the gold eye and silver face but can look like he is in a bit of a shock.
Sludge is averaged sized for a contemporary Deluxe.
Poseability is standard with joints for his head, shoulders, elbows, waist, hips and knees.
His big feet means it's easy to pose Sludge.
Sludge's weapon is a gun and the combiner piece.
The gun can go in either hand and it is exactly the same gun as the one with Slug.
You can use the combiner piece as some sort of handheld weapon but it looks fairly stupid, and there's no other meaningful place to store it.
The white translucent piece is shaped like a small blaster but the details are hard to make out just because of the type of plastic used.
Lastly, the combiner piece can be peg onto his chest as some sort of armor.
This is a good looking robot mode.
OVERALL:
Sludge is a nice figure but a bit boring because you've seen all the tricks (the lack thereof) that he employs from previous figures. Nevertheless, he looks great in both modes and is essential to completing an updated Dinobot team.

As part of the Power of the Primes line, Sludge can combine with any Voyager in the same line (or from Combiner Wars) as an arm or a leg.
In arm mode, the dinosaur head pops out to the side but is otherwise very functional.
Leg mode is a little bit more awkward as the head sticks out a lot more. That's it for the review, thank you for reading!
