ALTERNATE MODE:
Wrist Banned transforms into a watch with some digital noise display. This is a pretty good watch overall although the various joints don't like to sit flush with each other.
Being a BotBot, Wrist Banned is very small. Above is a comparison against Legion Barricade.
A neat alternate mode and is one that we don't see much of.
TRANSFORMATION:
Like a lot of the BotBots line, Wrist Banned has an interesting and inventive transformation. It is more complex than most, and the bulk of the transformation is on the display portion of the watch. however, the arms flip over from the sides, the legs from the back, and then you lift up the display to reveal the face. The wrist band can rotate out of the way.
ROBOT MODE:
Wrist Banned's robot mode is great, and looks more like a traditional robot than a lot of the other BotBots.
As a side effect, he does pack in quite a bulky backpack. It's the wrist band which has nowhere else to go.
The face / head sculpted is painted on and is looks like just a mouth. It's quite hard to discern what exactly it is supposed to be.
In robot mode, he is equally small, above is a comparison against Legion Crosshairs.
Articulation is very limited. You can only swivel his arms forward and that's it, but boy does he look good.
OVERALL:
Wrist Banned is a great little BotBot and well worth the cost. He has two great modes, and the robot is much better than one would expect. It has a complex look but remains stable.
